Evacuation of abandoned cars

Evacuation of abandoned cars

Lviv became the first city in Ukraine, where they seriously turned from words to deeds and began evacuating abandoned cars in yards and on the streets. These responsibilities were assumed by the city administration and municipal service. Lviv officials collected data on the territory of the city and discovered 70 such means of transport. So far, the city authorities plan to transport them to the penal area and until the end of the year.
Most often, such cars are reported by local residents, in whose yards “abandoned cars” cause inconvenience, litter lawns, spoil landscaping or - even worse - violate traffic rules, for example, block passage or parked on the sidewalk. Until the end of the year, the organizers plan to fully collect all the cars. Among the reasons that force people to leave their cars unowned can be identified as follows: departure of the owner to abroad, death or a disregard for attitude. City officials promise to sort out every single situation.
In monetary terms, this problem looks like this: an abandoned car threatens the owner with a fine of UAH 255, if he was evacuated by the municipal service - another UAH 720, and every day the car was parked at a penalty area - 144 UAH.
