Ford Mustang - the most popular sports car
Following the sales results of 2016, Mustang took first place in the ranking of popular sports cars. The press service of the automobile concern reported that in 2016 more than 150 thousand cars of a charismatic muscle car were sold. This information was also checked and confirmed by experts from the IHS Markit agency. The legendary Mustang sports car can now be bought in 140 countries around the world, and in the near future 6 more countries will be added to this list. According to official figures, more than 395 thousand cars left the assembly line for the entire time a sports car was manufactured at a plant in Michigan. Moreover, the expressive sports car Ford Mustang has become a favorite on the social network Facebook, collecting over 8.4 million likes.
But the most beautiful concept of 2016 at the International Automobile Beauty Contest in Paris was the Ferrari GTC4 Lusso, which replaced the Ferrari FF coupe. This model has a whole set of qualities inherent in a real sports car:
• four-wheel drive;
• steering all four wheels (fully controlled chassis);
• adaptive suspension;
• 6.3-liter engine with a power of 680 horsepower;
• acceleration to 100 km / h in 3.4 seconds;
• maximum speed - 335 km / h.
Among the applicants for the title of the most beautiful sports car were the Bugatti Chiron, Aston Martin RB001, Porsche Panamera, but, according to the jury, it was the Italian horse that deserved the high title of “The most beautiful sports car-2016”.
