Huawei builds its first SUV
Earlier, these were just unconfirmed rumors, which the company itself stubbornly denied. According to Huawei representatives, creating your own car brand is much more difficult than making phones.
However, rumors have been replaced by reliable information that in 2023, Huawei, together with GAC, plans to conquer the automotive market with a new product – premium SUV. In it, the developers of both companies plan to implement advanced technologies.
In addition, Huawei and GAC intend to create two more models based on the AH8, but they will have different bodies – MPV and coupe-crossover. GAC previously reported that the total investment in the project was over $120 million. Since the mass production of cars is scheduled for 2023, then in 2022 new cars can be seen on a test drive.
Since Huawei entered the automotive industry, the company has focused on introducing new technologies. Thus, Huawei has already implemented its technologies in ArcFox Alpha S and SERES Smart Selection SF5 smart cars.
